COVID HEALTH & SAFETY POLICY
The Yoga Ranch’s health and safety protocols fully comply with the Centers for Disease Control and the New York Department of Health. The health, safety, and protection of our Guests and Staff is our top priority. Our Staff are trained on all health and safety protocols.
We monitor all updates to federal, state, and local guidelines daily and expect these guidelines to evolve. Please check back for updates.
To ensure the safety of Guests and Staff, the Yoga Ranch requires the following:
2) All Guests are required to show a negative covid PCR test result within 72 hours prior to arrival.
3) Guests will be asked a series of health questions before arrival and again at check-in and will be asked to sign a Covid health waiver.
REGISTRATION & ARRIVAL
The Ashram will offer on-site courses beginning 4th of July weekend onwards. Please see the list of courses and dates. Online courses will continue to be offered.
The Ashram is open to registered Guests only. Guests must pre-register and pay online. Personal Retreats are available on fixed dates. Yoga Vacations and drop-ins are not available. We currently do not accept walk-ins, day guests, or drop-ins to Yoga class.
All accommodations are single occupancy unless coming with a friend or family member.
The Ashram does not offer pick-up service at this time. There is a taxi service which can be reserved either from the bus station in Monticello or the train station in Middletown.
All Guests and Staff are required to wear face masks at designated locations while on the Ashram property. Currently this includes indoor activities and when it is not possible to maintain six feet physical distance from others when outdoors.
Face coverings are not required when eating or drinking or in private accommodations. We strongly encourage guests to eat outdoors when removing masks. If eating indoors and removing masks, we require keeping silence and not conversing with others.
All Guests and Staff must maintain at least 6 feet distance from others. This includes satsang, asana class, workshops, meal service and any other activities.
YOGA CLASSES – Yoga classes will be offered outdoors whenever possible. Indoor Yoga classes will have a designated space for each student. Yoga mats, cushions, and blankets will not be provided for Guests. Please bring your own Yoga mat, meditation cushion, blanket, and towel.
SATSANG / WORKSHOPS
As much as possible, we will hold satsangs and workshops outdoors, under covered platforms, otherwise it will be in the large yoga hall. Seating in Satsang and workshops will be designated at least 6 feet apart.
Hand sanitizer is provided in all classrooms and common spaces for easy access.
CLEANING & SANITIZATION PRACTICES
The Ashram uses cleaning products that meet EPA guidelines. Common areas, practice spaces, and public restrooms are cleaned and sanitized regularly. Daily cleaning records are posted in each location.
Common Areas: There will be an increased frequency of cleaning and sanitizing in all public spaces with an emphasis on high-touch surfaces.
Guest Rooms: Staff will not enter your room during your stay. Rooms are cleaned and disinfected prior to your arrival, with particular attention to high-touch items.
Public Restrooms: Restrooms are cleaned and disinfected throughout the day.
Practice Spaces: The Yoga practice spaces are cleaned and disinfected daily with emphasis on high-touch surfaces.
Safety and PPE will be provided according to the activity.
SATSANG AND PUJA CEREMONIES
All seating is assigned.
Staff and Guests will practice physical distancing greater than 6 feet apart.
