Sthira-Sukham-Asanam” (Asana is steady, comfortable posture.)
II-46 Patanjali Yoga Sutra
The qualities of sthira/sukha: Balance/Comfort within your asana practice can
aid the flow of energy, calm the mind and bring a deeper understanding of the body-mind connection.
Join us in this Asana Jaya class (Meditative yoga class) where we will hold the asanas longer, creating space to increase both attention and intention principles in the postures.
Discover a new depth to the Sivananda Asana Sequence, hold the yoga asana for longer – conquer the position, go inwards and attain mastery over the asanas (asana jaya).
Suitable for all levels, some knowledge of the Sivananda sequence is helpful.
