Be Good, Do Good: The Joy of Right Living at the Sivananda Yoga Ranch

During this transformative weekend, we will explore the joy of right living, while immersed in the rejuvenating energy of the ashram schedule. Included will be a look at key concepts of a spiritual practice and the endless benefits as well as an interactive workshop introducing the Yamas and Niyamas, the Yogic guidelines for living a peaceful, joyful life.


We will also discuss Karma Yoga / Selfless Service: A key to Liberation from suffering and the bondage of self. Each day a gentle, restorative yoga asana class will be offered. Also, an optional Open 12 Step Recovery Meeting will be held each day during this retreat and will be available for anyone interested. All are welcome to attend.

The course tuition (listed above) is for the whole program. Your accommodation rate includes meals, Satsangs, and Hatha yoga classes which are offered daily.

Mukti Devi

Mukti Devi is a long time Sivananda Yoga practitioner, student and teacher. She completed the Sivananda TTC and ATTC at the Sivananda Yoga Farm and has served in many Sivananda ashrams and centers over the years. She currently lives in NYC, serving at the New York City Center. She also teaches private yoga and meditation classes and offers workshops and courses for businesses and corporations throughout the city.

Satsang & Yoga Classes

Satsang consists of a 30-minute silent meditation, followed by 30 minutes of spiritual chanting (kirtan), and finishes with 30 minutes of spiritual lecture.
Daily attendance at both Satsangs and Hatha Yoga Classes is encouraged for your health and well-being and to maintain the proper rhythm and atmosphere of the ashram community.
