Bhakti Yoga and Kirtan retreat
Withdrawing from the everyday world, slowing down the revolutions of life, and engaging in practices that nurture the spirit is a necessity of the soul. And we want to provide you with a safe space that has been delicately planned so that you feel like you recharge physically, mentally, and spiritually.
Bhakti is love, and Kirtan is the practice that brings us closer to the purest form of love.
When you sing the divine names or mantras, feel that Divinity is seated in your heart, that every word is filled with divine potencies, that the old vicious Samskaras (thought and behavior patterns) and Vasanas (mental waves) are burnt by the power of mantras, that the mind is filled with purity, that passion and inertia are completely destroyed and that the veil of ignorance is torn down. Meditate on the divine form and attributes also. Then only will you get the maximum benefit from Kirtan.
Kirtan is our calling out to God. In the Bhakti Yoga tradition, it is mentioned that there are nine primary practices or forms of devotion. They are hearing (Sravanam), chanting (Kirtanam), remembering (Smaranam), offering prayers (Vandhanam), serving the Lord’s feet (Pada-sevanam), becoming a servant (Dasyanam), worship (Archanam), befriending (Sakyam), and self-surrender (Atma-nivedana). All this starts with hearing, chanting, and remembering. These three are the secret of kirtan.
Join us and experience real ecstasy!
