Our modern lifestyles make it difficult to get the deep relaxation we need to recharge our bodies and minds. This weekend program will look at where we spend our energy, why and how we hold tension, and how to practice Yoga’s three levels of relaxation — physical, mental, and spiritual — which thoroughly rejuvenate the nervous system and brings us to a deep sense of inner peace.

The course tuition (listed above) is for the whole program. Your accommodation rate includes meals, Satsangs, and Hatha yoga classes which are offered daily.

Swami Satyapremananda

Swami Satyapremananda is a regular teacher at the Sivananda Ashram Yoga Ranch – especially teaching Bhagavad Gita and Mantra Chanting for our Yoga Teachers Training Courses. She has also served at the Sivananda Ashrams in California and Canada, our NYC Center, and as the director of the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Center in Chicago. Swamiji is a serious yoga practitioner who exemplifies the power of Yoga for self-transformation, self-actualization, and Self-realization, with her discipline, compassion and devotion. Her favorite sadhana is singing the names of God.

Satsang & Yoga Classes

Satsang consists of a 30-minute silent meditation, followed by 30 minutes of spiritual chanting (kirtan), and finishes with 30 minutes of spiritual lecture.
Daily attendance at both Satsangs and Hatha Yoga Classes is encouraged for your health and well-being and to maintain the proper rhythm and atmosphere of the ashram community.
