Mystical Yogic Gods & Goddesses Week Retreatwith Swami Gangananda

According to the Yogic tradition, the ultimate Truth is one but names are many. Gods and Goddesses in reality are divine aspects of the one and only Reality that dwells in our own hearts and is the truly infinite nature of everything that exists. 

By invoking these Divine Beings through prayer, mantras, and meditation we are actually facilitating the awakening of those divine latent forces within us and realizing our own infinite potential. 

Brahma, Vishnu, Siva, Durga, Lakshmi, Saraswati, Ganesha, Hanuman, Rama, and Krishna, are our special guests! We are going to explore their origin, their stories, their mantras, their rites, and their significance to enrich our daily lives!

Our goal is to inspire you to make devotion a daily Sadhana (spiritual practice). Let’s open the heart for a few days in reverence, inspiration, and consciousness, and it’s guaranteed that this will change your life.

Retreat from the stressors and distractions of everyday life and discover a healthier, happier you. This Yoga Vacation Week was designed to ensure complete relaxation and rejuvenation for the body, mind, and soul. Daily yoga classes work in conjunction with the ashram schedule to help your body reconnect with the natural rhythms of nature so that your mind can become more restful and present.

We encourage you to stay for a minimum of three nights (ideally the 5 nights) to fully get the benefits of the program and to settle into the schedule. The minimum requirement is set for two nights. The biggest risk is that you won’t want to leave 🙂

The ashram is all-inclusive and offers you a wonderful retreat in nature, delicious food, 2 daily yoga classes, 2 daily satsangs (communal events with joyous chanting, meditation, and spiritual lectures), and daily workshops about different weekly topics.

* Satsang – 30-minute silent meditation, kirtan / chanting, spiritual lecture.

Swami Gangananda is a senior teacher in the Sivananda lineage.  Swamiji spent 30 years practicing and teaching by Ganga in Uttarkashi, India.  Now she resides at the Sivananda Yoga Ranch in New York.  Swamiji teaches with a friendly smile and a big heart.
