Join us for this Kitchari cooking workshop: Kitchari is a one pot traditional Ayurvedic dish made with mung dal and basmati rice, and simmered in a myriad of fragrant, anti-inflammatory spices like turmeric, cumin seeds and black pepper.
Kitchari is considered a detoxifying and healing food for a few reasons:
– It is made with split Mung beans, which are easy to digest
– It is a complete protein
– It helps to improve your digestion and is made with specific digestive spices
You will be provided with a list of ingredients and recipe. During the workshop, you can cook along or simply watch the process!
This workshop is open to all. No previous experience necessary.
