Join us during this day to welcome the new year and set your intentions for a positive and peace-filled 2020. We will celebrate the evening with a special Guru Puja (ceremony) performed by the Ashram priest, Sankara Namboodri, in honor of Swami Vishnudevananda’s birthday, live music, and uplifting chanting throughout the night shared by Rabbi Zoe Zak and Prem Sadasivananda.
The course tuition (listed above) is for the whole program. Your accommodation rate includes meals, Satsangs, and Hatha yoga classes which are offered daily.

Prem Sadasivananda is a direct disciple of Swami Vishnudevananda and a scholar of Vedantic Philosophy, Hindu Scripture, and Sanskrit. He is a trained musician, well known for his uplifting Kirtan (chanting), for his lively and humorous talks, his accessible teaching style, and his unique ability to bring the ancient Yogic scriptures and texts to life in the modern world.
Rabbi Zoe Zak
Rabbi Zoe serves at the Temple Israel in Catskill, NY. Her music weaves a seamless tapestry of ancient and modern, erasing the line between praying and playing.

Satsang & Yoga Classes
Satsang consists of a 30-minute silent meditation, followed by 30 minutes of spiritual chanting (kirtan), and finishes with 30 minutes of spiritual lecture.
Daily attendance at both Satsangs and Hatha Yoga Classes is encouraged for your health and well-being and to maintain the proper rhythm and atmosphere of the ashram community.
