Join us for the annual celebration of Sri Swami Sivananda’s birthday with devotional singing, storytelling and mantra chanting. We start the day with a puja at 6 am and continue with Akanda Kirtan (Non-stop chanting) in honor of beloved Gurudev. Born on September 8, 1887, Swami Sivananda’s teachings can be described in six words: Serve, Love, Give, Purify, Meditate, Realize. Swami Sivananda Saraswati of Rishikesh India (1887 – 1963) is known as being one of the world’s most influential Yoga masters of our modern time.
