An online monthly subscription with weekend programs to enhance your well being and begin your new year with optimal health!

  • Weekend Hatha Yoga Classes (Sat & Sun) 90 mins each
  • Hatha Yoga Classes
    Take Classic Sivananda Hatha Yoga classes in our Online Community! In these 90 min classes you’ll be guided through Pranayama (charging and balancing breathing exercises), Sun Salutations, a series of Yoga Asanas (steady postures) and an extended final relaxation.

  • Ayurvedic Resolutions for Optimal State of Living 2-weekend course 6 hrs

    In this two week immersion, you are invited to challenge yourself into a Quest For Vibrant Health, Strong Immunity, and Happiness which Shines from Within.

    Optimal Health is the essential foundation for human life. How do we achieve that? This question has been asked since ancient time and Ayurveda – the traditional health system that developed thousands of years ago in what is now India – as guidance and tools for every day of living.

    While there are certainly some specific Ayurvedic medicines and therapies which require the expertise of the expert, the most important and potent “medicines” are very applicable and available all around and inside us.


  • You will learn the theory of Tridosa – the three basic energies that constitute all life forms.
  • You’ll get to Know and Become an attentive friend with your Agni – the fire of your digestion which makes everything you digest into you.
  • You’ll learn about Dhatus – the Essential building blocks of your body.
  • You’ll Realize Why the Mind and Senses need to be watched over. And You’ll Be Who You Truly Are. All of this will be made clear into practical step by step activities of your daily life in accordance with the movements of Nature.

  • You will explore the journey in the comfort of your home from online via Zoom. Recordings will be available to those who take the course.
  • In the first 90min session of the first week, Nitya will explain the Ayurvedic Hows, What’s and Whys with Q&A toward the end. When you are knowledgeable about these concepts and understand the broader patterns of dis-ease and processes of well – being, you’ll want to Be yourself Wholeheartedly.
  • In the second 90min session of the first week, Nitya will introduce the ultimate Ayurvedic daily routine which details every hour of your day with what activities would be most serving to you and your authentic need according to that day. You will be “sent” home with a recommended daily diary to help you stay strong with your resolution of being True to Yourself.
  • In the third 90 min session of the second week, we will gather and share what our triumphs and setbacks are and learn how to adapt and adjust with all different tools. Learning and practicing in a community of like minded people toward a Better Self called Satsang in Yoga. The community will be your witness and support along the way.
  • In our fourth and final 90min session of the second week, you’ll explore how developing a firm Ayurvedic Resolution is a path of personal spiritual discovery. It begins with understanding your past and current challenges. The more you understand the more clarity and ease set in till you no longer struggle and the Optimal State of Being is Your Own Birthright.

  • Detox Essentials for Your New Year Workshop 90 mins

    Taught by Manu Dawson
    Designed to enhance your wellness with guidance on natural detoxification, this workshop is perfect for the start of your new year! Detoxing eliminates toxins, regenerates the bodily functions and gives rest to the organs. Simple, natural, non-stimulating, tissue-building, energy-producing, non-alcoholic foods and drinks keep the mind calm and pure and help one in Yogic practices
    and in the attainment of the goal of life (Self realization).


  • Learn to upregulate your system and improve the natural detoxification function of your body with food, nutrients, exercise, and lifestyle changes.
  • Explore the physiology of detoxification, and those factors that enhance or weaken your body’s ability to detox.

  • Ayurvedic Astrology Workshop 90 mins

    Ayurvedic Astrology incorporates Ayurvedic principles to a Vedic Astrology reading. By incorporating Ayurvedic principles in your life you can change negative influences from the cosmic energies, live longer, curb unhealthy tendencies, understand your calling in life, and more. Influences from planets can be seen in some simple calculations of your chart. Astrology doesn’t have to be too complex to be used for our benefit and should not be a predestination reading practice. It should be a practice of understanding yourself more deeply. Becoming aware of the most subtle things and developing awe of this infinite universe.

  • We will look at the influence on consciousness the planets bring.
  • You’ll learn some basic calculations to read a Vedic Astrology chart.
  • Learn to balance toward harmony and clarity with Ayurvedic principles.

  • Mind,Body, Spirit- Practice of Qi Gong Workshop 90 mins x 2

    Qigong is a general term used for many ancient practices almost lost and forgotten. These practices were kept secret and hidden due to the cultural revolution in China. Using meditations, movements,breath work, sound vibrations, visualizations, thought cultivation, self massage, pressure points, and more, one can cultivate and balance their vital energy and physical health and easily relieve oreven eliminate pain.

  • Learn about the foundations and meaning of Qigong through Chinese calligraphy.
  • Learn and feel how Qigong practices can amplify physical, mental, and spiritual energy.
  • Experience gentle moving meditations that massage the internal organs, lubricate the joints and fascia, squeeze inflammation out of the tissues, awaken your healing energy, enhance health, help sustain happiness, and bring you into effortless alignment with the flow of life.
  • No previous experience is necessary. This workshop is part theory, part practice.

  • Essence of Chinese Medicine Workshop 90 mins

    In this interactive workshop, we’ll go over some of the basics for self-care that you can do everyday to keep yourself feeling as good as possible. We will do some movement, self massage, and a brief introduction to some dietary principles. No prior experience necessary.

  • Balanced Mind, Balanced Asana Workshop 120 mins

    Taught by Isani
    The qualities of steady (sthira) and comfortable (sukha) should be present in our Asana practice. In this practical workshop, we will explore how to bring Steadiness, thru understanding the body-mind connection.
    Learn how to bring Balance/Comfort to our asanas by increasing both attention and intention principles in the postures. You will experience a full practice of Meditation, Pranayama, & Sivananda Asana Sequence.

    Suitable for all levels, some knowledge of the Sivananda sequence is helpful.

    Nitya (Hoa Tran) is a Sivananda yoga teacher, Ayurvedic Health Counselor and Ayurveda Body Treatment therapist. She also serves as the Director of Ayurvedic Therapy Training Course and the Ayurveda Panchakarma Program at the Sivananda Ashram in Vietnam. She annually serves in the Well Being Center of the Yoga Retreat Ashram in the Bahamas and currently serves at Sivananda Yoga Ranch New York. Nitya has a passion for this ancient science and always continues extensive training in Ayurveda, Yoga, Meditation and Vedanta. Nitya holds many certifications of yoga and Ayurveda, including BSS sponsored by the government of India in Ayurveda and Panchakarma, as well as doing Clinical Practice at Vaidyagrama hospital in Coimbatore, India.



    Omkara Kevin Wicks was introduced to meditation and a reverence for nature when he was a
    child. Interests in meditation and mysticism lead him to certifications and training in a number of
    fields including Sivananda Yoga, Qigong, Healing Arts, and Ayurvedic Astrology. He shares
    classes, workshops, and treatments in studios, yoga festivals, Sivananda Ashrams, special
    events, and resorts around southern Maine, the Bahamas, and New York.


    Manu Dawson

    Manu Dawson is a Certified Yoga Nutrition Therapist (CYNTh), certified by Dr. Amrita McClanahan director of Integral Yoga Health Services. He is a practicing Clinical Nutritionist for Well Balanced Chiropractic in NY and has directed hundreds of people in Detoxification Protocols. Manu is a direct disciple of Swami Satchidananda who was a direct disciple of Master Sivananda.



    Mahakanta (Michael LaFemina) is a licensed acupuncturist and meditation and yoga teacher in New York City and New Paltz, New York. He graduated from Sivananda TTC in 2011, spent two years living in the ashrams, and has since been studying and practicing Chinese medicine.     Isani is a senior teacher within the Sivananda Organization and has been practicing and teaching at the NYC Center and Ashram since 2007. Her own avid approach as a practicioner of Hatha Yoga is reflected in her teaching that instills strength and flexibility in her students both on and off the mat. She teaches with compassion and believes when one teaches, two learn!
