Yoga teaches that following a vegetarian lifestyle, with special emphasis on foods that bring peace to body, mind, and spirit, can increase vitality, energy, health, and joy.
Rich and well-planned vegetarian meals are not only a key to good preventative health but also help protect the planet. Raising animals for food requires massive amounts of land, food, energy, and water. The byproducts of animal agriculture pollute our air and waterways.
